I like the idea for your blog. I'd like to offer a blog discussion topic: societal resistance to accepting individuals with special needs in to the mainstream. I think that society does a good job at accepting individuals with special needs when these individuals are in educational institutions. However, once these individuals turn 21 (most states in US, require educating individuals with special need to 21) educational services stop and they now have to deal with employers and state bureaucracies. Employers often won't hire and if they do find a reason for termination later. State bureaucracies only provide long waits for adult services, and a lot of unneeded anguish. The individual with special needs is then usually left to sit at home and regress while they wait for services or another job.
